A little bit of history ...

“Zwettinge” comes from the old name of the town hall street. The door opens on the former two-floored granary, the lower part of which included the accommodation of the valet. The floor is made of broad traditional fir planks .

17^th century tiles are used once more in this room. You can admire spectacular oak framework, once again a product of the 17^th century with the exception of a portion facing the street which was added later in the 18^th century.

The miller's ladder leading to the attic space above the room is remains as a vestige of the rooms past.
