A little bit of history ...

The two rooms open onto the courtyard loggia supporting the traditional wisteria , which was fitted out during the renovation after the great fire that destroyed the entire northwest corner of the buildings in the late 19^th century.

Looking into the courtyard one can see the beautiful Japanese cherry tree and the ancient Roman altar dating from 2^nd century AD.

Do not miss the painted wardrobe of 1792 , a wedding gift of Ursula Grathwohl, which comes from the Ebersmünster region.
